| Entry Fee: $15 | Registration from 9am - Noon, awards at 2pm Since the Crossroad Car Show and Quilt Auction began in 2003, you have helped us refurnish children’s rooms, build a playground, start an anti-bullying program, replace an antiquated boiler system, and more. This year, proceeds from the Crossroad Car Show and Quilt Auction will raise funds for the renovation of shower and day-room areas in 2 of our girl’s living units. We celebrate 125 years of service to children and families in 2008 and some of our buildings are more than 50 years old. One of the buildings housing girls is in need of renovation to make sure it continues to be safe and comfortable for the young people who live and receive treatment for emotional trauma on our campus. About 75 young people, ages 6 and up, live on our campus at any given time while receiving therapy, education and family support services. This means that our buildings get a lot of use and need to be refreshed and updated regularly. Our project this year means giving our girls a safer, healthier environment while they live here in our care. On Saturday, October 4, 2008, Crossroad will be having our Sixth Annual Car Show, Quilt & Silent Auction. This event is fun for the whole family with Kid’s activities, Live DJ, Food, and much more. Put your dollars to good use and support a great cause in our community. Together we can change the lives of children. | |||
